The growing number of high school dropouts is alarming. There
was a time in Marlon’s life when he was suffering from low
self-esteem, failing out of school with a 1.6 GPA, and being
influenced by negative peer pressure. Some considered him to an
At risk youth.
Fortunately, Marlon turned his life around, eventually
graduating from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Today, Marlon and his Success By Choice team are on a mission
to help schools and communities better understand the issues and
challenges encountered by At risk youth and high school
dropouts.
Through youth mentoring programs and youth leadership,
Success By Choice shares important information that addresses:
high school dropouts' history, problems of many high school
dropouts, and causes of high school dropouts.
